Candice Faktor
Candice runs Faktory Ventures, where she advises and invests in early-stage companies. Recently, Candice was the GM of Wattpad, a $70MM VC-funded global consumer internet entertainment startup with 50MM users.Candice co-created Torstar Digital, the corporate venture and innovation arm for Torstar where she acquired, invested,or incubated a portfolio of 15+ digital businesses. Candice spent the first five years of her career in strategy consulting at Monitor Group and has a business degree from Ivey School of Business. Candice is passionate about making Toronto a globally recognized startup cluster; she is a frequent speaker on exponential technology and is an active participant in the startup community through advisory roles with Next Canada, theBoardlist, Future of Storytelling, PTTOW, and MovetheDial. Candice is listed as one of ITAC’s top 25 Tech Women to have on your board.
