Ilya Sutskever
Ilya Sutskever is the Cofounder and Research Director at OpenAI. Prior to joining OpenAI, he was a machine-learning research scientist at Google. He cofounded DNNresearch with Professor Geoffrey Hinton and Alex Krizhevsky, which was acquired by Google in March 2013 for its research on deep neural networks. He holds a PhD in computer science from University of Toronto and completed his postdoctoral research at Stanford with Andrew Ng’s group.
