Jerry Kaplan is the author of Humans Need Not Apply: A Guide to Wealth and Work in the Age of Artificial Intelligence. He is a fellow at the Center for Legal Informatics and a visiting lecturer in the Computer Science Department at Stanford. He is widely known as a serial entrepreneur, artificial intelligence expert, technical innovator, bestselling author, and futurist, and he is best known for his influence in the tablet computer industry as Founder of GO Corporation in 1987. He holds an MSE and PhD in Computer Science, specializing in artificial intelligence, from the University of Pennsylvania
