Professor Mara Lederman is Professor of Strategic Management at the Rotman School of Management. She joined the faculty at Rotman in 2003 after completing her PhD in Economics at MIT. Professor Lederman does empirical research in the areas of Industrial Organization and Organizational Economics. At a broad level, she studies how companies compete and how they organize themselves for competitive advantage, and she is best known for her work on loyalty programs and organizational design. On the teaching side, Professor Lederman delivers courses on competitive strategy, data analytics, and business problem solving, at both the MBA and executive levels. She also serves as the Site Lead at CDL-Toronto.
